NAD+ injection therapy offers a powerful way to boost vitality, support healthy aging, and combat age-related decline. It’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking to optimize their health and well-being, regardless of age.
How you will receive your NAD+ medication and how to store it
Your NAD+ medication will arrive via overnight delivery directly from the pharmacy, along with syringes and alcohol pads. Store the vial in the refrigerator (do not freeze), and keep it protected from heat and light.
Supplies needed for injection
- Sharps container (available on Amazon or at your local pharmacy)
- Medication vial, syringe, and alcohol wipe
Preparing the vial
- Thoroughly wash your hands.
- If this is your first time using this medicine, carefully remove the cap from the vial. Do not remove the rubber top below the cap.
- Wipe the rubber top clean with an alcohol pad.
Filling the syringe with medication
- Hold the syringe like a pencil, with the needle pointing up.
- With the cap still on, pull back the plunger to the unit line matching your dose. This fills the syringe with air.
- Insert the needle into the rubber top. Do not touch or bend the needle.
- Push the air into the vial to prevent a vacuum from forming.
- Keep the needle tip in the liquid. Turn the vial upside down and hold it in the air.
- Slowly pull back the plunger to your prescribed dose.
- Carefully put the cover back on the syringe until ready to inject.
Administering the injection
- Choose an injection site. The medication should be injected under the skin (subcutaneously) into a fatty area, such as the stomach (abdomen), thigh, or back of the upper arm. If using the stomach, inject at least two inches away from the belly button. Rotate injection sites weekly to prevent irritation.
- Clean the site. Wipe the area with an alcohol wipe.
- Inject the medication.
- Remove the cover from the prepared syringe.
- Gently pinch the skin between your thumb and index finger.
- Insert the needle into the pinched skin at a 90-degree angle, quickly but gently.
- Push the plunger to inject the medication.
- Withdraw the needle and apply pressure to the site.
- Dispose of the used syringe properly. Place used syringe in a designated sharps container. If a sharps container is unavailable, use a sturdy plastic container (such as an empty laundry detergent bottle). Dispose of syringes at a hazardous waste drop-off site or through an approved mail-back program.
For best results
To maintain healthy NAD+ levels, consider the following lifestyle habits:
- Manage stress: Practice relaxation techniques, exercise regularly, and prioritize sleep.
- Eat a healthy diet: Include NAD+ precursors such as vitamin B3 (niacin) from sources like fish, poultry, whole grains, and leafy greens.
- Moderate alcohol intake: Limiting alcohol helps protect the liver and supports NAD+ production.
- Prioritize sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night.
