Infusing your water with certain fruits and vegetables not only provides a fun way to jazz up your water, it can also provide many health benefits when consumed at strategic moments of the day.

Morning glow and metabolism boost: Apple, orange, and cinnamon

Afternoon mood pick-me-up: Strawberry, basil, and lemon

Evening night cap: Diced dark cherries, honey, mint, kiwi, and pineapple.

Directions: Add ingredients listed above to water and let steep in the refrigerator for at least four hours before drinking.
